Press release: Flying Secoya and Game Only announce strategic partnership
Flying Secoya launches a strategic collaboration with Game Only and the Jyros tool to accelerate the low-carbon and CSR transition of the video game industry on a European scale.
Paris and Lyon, November 17, 2025
A pioneer in responsible production in the film, audiovisual, and advertising industries, Flying Secoya is now extending its commitment to a new segment of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI): video games.
The company announces the signing of a strategic partnership with Game Only, the association that brings together the video game industry in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and creator of Jyros, the first environmental impact calculator dedicated to the sector, launched in 2023 with the National Video Game Consortium for the Environment.
This alliance is part of a shared desire to accelerate the sector's low-carbon and CSR transition at the European level, based on a common set of values and methodological requirements.
Infrastructure supporting responsible production
By leveraging the Flying Secoya Platform, users of the Jyros tool will benefit from a technological and methodological infrastructure designed to orchestrate the environmental, social, and economic transition of cultural industries. This partnership aims to structure a comprehensive responsible production process in video games, based on impact measurement, carbon data, and strategic CSR management.
Beyond the technological dimension, this collaboration opens up a new avenue: that of managing non-financial risks and taking into account the expectations of investors and institutions. For both organizations, it embodies the conviction that the transition of the sector cannot be decreed—it is built on data, methodology, and cooperation between economic, institutional, and creative players.
Shared ambitions for the sector
" This partnership marks a decisive step forward for the video game industry. It will enable us to support our studios and partners in taking concrete action to decarbonize the sector, using a data-driven methodology tailored to the specificities of our businesses, while preparing the industry to meet the expectations of investors and institutions," said Mathilde Yagoubi, CEO of Game Only and co-founder of Jyros.
" The strength of our alliance with Game Only lies in our ability to combine strategy, data, and operational support. Together, we are building a transition model that goes beyond the environmental framework alone to become a truly sustainable governance framework on a European scale," adds Pauline Pezerat, CEO of Flying Secoya.
Continuity of sector-specific work already underway
This partnership is part of Flying Secoya's ongoing efforts, alongside FICAM and other professional organizations, to develop low-carbon and CSR strategies for the film, audiovisual, advertising, and now video game industries.
By connecting the Jyros tool to the Flying Secoya Platform, video game industry players will be able to:
- Measure and manage their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts,
- Define low-carbon and CSR trajectories tailored to their production models,
- Anticipating European regulatory and financial requirements,
- Promote their commitments to institutions and investors,
- Pool their resources and share common indicators across the sector.
Jyros will remain accessible to all video game companies, particularly in response to the eco-conditionality measures of the National Center for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC), which makes access to public funding conditional on the implementation of an environmental approach that complies with current requirements.
